Assistant during training : Engineer Scotty *********************************************************** Summary:Gunter Gonnt,friend of Mandroid the shrinker,takes Salvia the wow woman in hidden but she escaped; so he run to the hills for a while, but when things cool down, he came back for cash and went to the war in the shoulders of Orion...}there he find a place in the cruiser "Parlons" and fight 3 enemy cruisers, destroying 2; the "Parlons" went down and lived for a while in the wreck; Gunter was XBeamed and disappeared. The remnant crew bombed the nearest enemy Base, destroying everything there. The crew(2 left) were rescued by the "Enterprise". Then the starfleet of the GHAMCOUNIN attacks the earth vessels at 631 System; the "Parlons" and the "Sigmund Freud" were destroyed. A sphere-ship was taken by Kirk s men. It went operational with Scotty s aid. It s sended to Earth to be replicated or used as model to make engines never seen before . But the war keeps on, and the Federation Fleet was defeated in Orion by the GHAMCOUNIN; so the tasks of Commander Maora Noemi , Captain Kirk and Captain Sulu on the 631 planetary system (4 planets wined for the Federation) must wait, as a signal from Earth called them to defend the Solar System ! Prologue.

THE STORY OF THE ELECTROMEN. THEY WERE MADE IN THE EARTH FACILITIES AT SAN DIEGO, USA; USED MAINLY IN THE FIRST DECADES OF THE CONQUEST OF THE NEW WORLDS, ABOARD SHIPS DOING CREWMAN WORKS.

Early in the 21st Century, THE TYRELL CORPORATION advanced Robot evolution into the NEXUS phase - a being virtually identical to a human - known as a Electromen. The NEXUS 6 Electromen were superior in strength and agility, and at least equal in intelligence, to the genetic engineers who created them. Electromen were used Off-world as slave labor, in the hazardous exploration and colonization of other planets. After a bloody mutiny by a NEXUS 6 combat team in an Off-world colony, Electromen were declared illegal on earth - under penalty of death. Special police squads - BLADE RUNNER UNITS - had orders to shoot to kill, upon detection, any trespassing Electromen. · This was not called execution. THE STORY OF THE ALIEN ABDUCTIONS. a trap on the ceiling opened, and a sluggish thing , white, obscene, with something greasy all over, takes Shana, and began to fuck her with something like a tube...The woman lay limp in its three arms, one of them sticking out of its head... THE RAPE The GHAMCOUNIN grabs the woman, and in spite of their crying, he inserted his long tromp inside, with a lot of mucus, and began pumping. The woman was crying , until the GHAMCOUNIN ends his job, by sending a gush of lava inside her pussy. And , as always, runs out of the room, as was their liking. The woman was almost frantic with terror; she stands up and then two birdons (similar as an earth bound Australopithecus) grabs her and carried to the Lab, where a Dosquer was waiting. The Dosquer was a humanoid from Beta Luminux, (Luminux 3) who began by sedate the girl, speaking in soft voice. He then send her to a capsule of hibernation, where she was left resting for the two months pregnancy...then, another Burei would be stomping the earth !

THE LOST MEMORIES

-I had not went to psychoanalysis. I doubt, I guess all psychoanalysts are the same: too much talk and little results."

-You are mistaken here, madam. We are people who really try to help persons in difficulties. Now, you say you cannot sleep at all. How came this to happen?"

-Since I went to the Moon, where I had that accident.."

-What accident, Salvia?

-Well, it was a ridiculous situation...I went to walk by the earth light, as they said there when you go out of the Station...and I was looking some beautiful craters...when they say I had a oxygen malfunction I awoke at the Medical Center, in the Moon Station Alpha ."- She said, flushing. -"No need to felt you was imprudent. But I guess there are some minor discre- pancies in your "accident." I need to put you to sleep. " -¨

Hipnotize me?"- She asks, feeling afraid.

-With your permission, of course. "- Mandroid said. Salvia stretched her 1.80 meters on the couch, and relaxed. The doctor begin to talk to her, and suddenly she was hypnotized. -Now, Salvia, tell me what happens when you were out of the compound, in the Mon." She began by saying"- I was out of the building...the site was illuminated with silver rays...I walked, and then some guy grabs me by behind...he is trying to force me to walk away of the building...The another man appeared, without a mask, and his face is ugly! " -Relax, Salvia, you are not there...tell me, are they pushing you inside of something?"

-Yes ! We enter that ship...a black big saucer...then there is a room with metal walls...wait ! A door on the ceiling, a "thing" that went down on me, with several arms...or tentacles, the thing grabs me...he is trying to insert a big hose in my vagina...Oh!" -Relax, you are not feeling any harm now, you are not there any more...tell me, what he looks like?"- Asked the astounded hipnotherapist.

-"Oh! But he is pumping me! Oh! I feel a lot of mucus running inside and out of my vagina..." -Relax! You are going to wake at the count of 3...1.2,3..." Salvia opened her eyes, and said:"-What? Salvia recovered ,thus, her loosed hours... In the next days, the hipnotherapist went further on, and so they believe the fetus of Salvia was alive in some part of outer space! -"What a devilish thing those monsters perpetrate unto me! But I swear I will try to revenge myself!"- Salvia said. -"I don t see how you could!"- Mandroid said, looking at the woman. -"I will go again the Moon! Perhaps they surely take me again !"- She said, leaving the room.

Mandroid went after her, saying: "Permit to accompany you, Salvia!" She stops in the middle of the corridor, astounded."-But, Doctor Mandroid! You cannot be speaking in serious!" -Yes! I want to go with you to the Moon, to help you in this adventure!" She began to walk, moving her blonde hair.-"And what are you going to earn with this, doctor? The expense will be great, also...your patients will be without your help!" -No matter ! I can handle them to another doctor, you know! There is no one indispensable in this profession!"- He affirmed. -Let me think it over, doctor.!-She said to him, pushing him out of the elevator. The machine went down, and the doctor was looking at the door...He returns to his office, and attends another patient... At eighteen hours, he closed his office, and went to the park lot, where he jump inside his car; he had memorized the address of the beautiful Salvia,so he went straight there. There was no-one inside the house, at least, the ring bells for half an hour to not avail.... Mandroid --------------------------------------------------------------------

CHAPTER TWO

THE INTERRUPTED PARTY

In the big vessel, the GHAMCOUNIN were having a party; even in high space they were a merry lot. Lord Vierro was a little drunk, for too many Fodo eating; he was caressing her mate, Lady Maluda. In front of them, the crew was dancing , under the music of some machines .The Fodo was being eaten without restriction, as the ship has a great provision of those. Some GHAMCOUNIN began to have intercourse, as the Fodo makes them luxurious. In one corner, some prisoners were watching it all, understanding they were to follow...Lord Vierro was eyeing a blonde woman, with big tits, who was in that lot...pity Lady Maluda was present; he can t have fun with a wife in a party!

Suddenly, an inner sound startled them all: an alarm was sounding ! The party ends in a trifle; they all scurried to their posts; Lord Vierro was already in front of his screen, looking out the ship: three lights were approaching, and they were not acknowledging the necessary salutations ! Full throttle was giving to the main engines; the ship jumps forward and out, and they send some Spikes to the enemy. Those ships were clever steered, as they fired the Spikes, who exploded without sound. Three faster objects were coming now; missiles! The GHAMCOUNIN were frantic; they project a wall of sound ,for the missiles to loose control; to not avail! The Jump was necessary here ! They start the Focusers, who opened the Hole in front of the ship; then they were swallowed with haste. The missiles didn t find an object, and they keep on until the energy faltered down.

The GHAMCOUNIN were entering the Universe again , by another site; the fiery sun in front of them startled everyone. With cunning steering, they turn the ship out of that course, finding a planet almost nose to nose ! As it was dangerous to avoid the planet, they went inside the atmosphere, and landed close to a canyon. Lord Vierro went down to see the soil. It was volcanic; no air, no water there. Some other crew members descended as well; they climbed a little hill, and from there they had a greater view of the surroundings: more hills, a waste- land everywhere. No life whatsoever. The Lord Vierro gets into the ship, revising engines and propellants; they had enough to come back to the nearest Base, some 3.9 l.y. away.. -------------------

CHAPTER THREE " The end of a dance appointment." Salvia was seeing her boy-friend Calder through a mist; the last dance was over, and she needs some rest; the day was a busy one. -Carry me home, Calder? "- She murmured in his hear. -As you wish, darling"!- Calder said, taking her by the arm .He paid the drinks, and escort her to the exit. The ball -room was a big one, with the latest anti-G gadgets; the servers were usually E-women with anti-G shoes. Out of the building ,the gravy-car was waiting, as the signal from his belt was on.

They climbed in the vehicle, who soared into the air, and in five minutes they were on top of the megabuilding where both lived. -This night I want to sleep a lot ! "- She stretched her arms, smiling; his hand rested on the door of her apartment, and it opened . They went inside; Calder knows the woman well, so he kissed her in the right spots; suddenly, she was anxious, so they have intercourse in the rug. After that, she takes a bath, and when going to the bed, she saw Calder in at the door. -Are you leaving, darling? -Yes, my love. You know, I had to work early in the morning."- He replied. -Good night, then."- She smiled, seeing how he went out. The door closed, and the silence was broken by a sweet music (pre-set by her). With a sigh, she went to sleep...

MANDROID He was looking at the screen; in it he was trying to portrait the face of Salvia, with several photos of women...He was tired, but not ready to sleep. He looked at the visophone; no way! He cannot call at 3.00 in the morn' ! Mandroid was a silent man, without marriages in his history- life. Also, few women were in his love- record. He was too choosy, and when choosing, the girl was above him !

So he seldom used e-women for his needs; some people looks that occupation as degradation; some others used e-women for not to be involved with females... that ends by grabbing every item the man could had grasp in the course of years! He went to take a shower; he had paid for a G-shower, so he can spin in the air, with the water as bubbles around him...perhaps a grown-up toy, but that pleased and soothed Mandroid.

After the G-shower, he went to bed; it was an old fashion water-bed, and in the silence of his apartment, he get sound asleep . AT 9.00 hours, a buzzer awoke him; Mandroid looked at the clock; it was time to go working! He puts a new robe on, and a metal belt, with the usual gadgets. He went down in the elevator; lots of people were traveling to work, too. In the street, the moving roads carried him to his working place: the Hospital General. When arrived to his office, he find some persons were already waiting him .

Cases of severe break-down, people with stress, some others biologically ill. To them he prescribed drugs and rest; also he hipnoanalyze the worst cases. Four hours later, he summoned the electronic aid; a machine that records every item he did ,every word uttered by his patients. He did some recordings, to hear later. The rest he erased as useless. Eight patients; two were old cases; no worth mentioning here: stress, anguish, head aches, all due to one cause: the packing life they were living in that megalopolis; too many neighbors, too many regulations, too many competition !

And the noises, the smells...no matter how the government try to made a silent city, the noise swollen up ,together with the smell of plastic and waste dis- posal.... The another six cases were due to the Silent Invasion: agents from the govern- ment, or straight full aliens in disguise...difficult to separate those two, even for him ! He works the rest of the afternoon with those cases. Five were due to aliens, and the sixth was a clear MIB case. Mandroid was sure of that; the patient was an engineer in one of the big atomic plants, so he was being followed 24 hours a day; his sub-conscience knew it and pressed on the conscience, to get rid of the follow-ups....To that case, a change of airs were the final solution; perhaps with a change of work, too. In that case, the MIB agency sure will drop him out of the "supervised person" list... But the other cases...were like a hot rod in bare hands.

For the experience in others serves Mandroid not to tell the government agencies about having patients with that kind of contacts...He would be the 24 hours supervised, and for experience, the knowledge of being scrutinized all day eats the nervous system as a leech...

He opened the eworkbook and began writing the cases. "First case: Farula Semwick, 35 years. Lives in the Bronx. This investigator has since found that this same approach used by some, he knows, has also stopped their unwelcome visitors from returning.

This woman told this investigator while standing in the hallway of her home in daylight that she had a haunt jump on her back and try to "suffocate her." In desperation she yelled, "Jesus! Jesus! Save me!" The haunt immediately flew off and has not since returned. Another individual while having a lucid dream of a dark, big-eyed, gray screamed, "Jesus is my savior!" as a neighbor suggested.

That was nearly nine months ago and all alien related activity in his house has vanished. Second Case: John Ipertwo. La Brea. He believed he was an abductee, and after seeing his dog going crazy a top his bed barking at an unseen entity, performed an undescribed exorcism. That was several months ago and all his alien troubles have ended. The simple "cure" is, admittedly, totally dumb-founding. While the relationship between abductions and paranormal activity has been documented by many investigators, this is compelling proof that abductions have nothing to do with space kidnappings. John Ipertwo told me "If high-tech ETs are behind the abduction madness, why would one's belief in God stop abductions cold? Such Jesus-laced uttering would not have stopped earthbound evils, so why would they halt highly advanced and technologically sophisticated ETs from abducting? " Case Three: General Bill Clayton. El Toro. " The General Clayton confirmed that thousands of children have been permanently abducted by aliens and have been used for various purposes which he considers horrifying, that proof of this was confirmed to an AI-TRAD member in the form of highly sensitive photographs of HUMAN CHILDREN REMAINS having been found in crashed disks .The General stated that if word got out that the information had been leaked, it would be very likely that several people involved would be eliminated The information was obtained by the General from others in Intelligence who owed him old favors. He stated that if the cover- up which had been in effect since at least 1947 were to suddenly hit the news-stands, many officials now in the government would be forced by the people to leave office. He stated that after he would not go along with the "Awareness" project which was designed to acclimate the masses into more or less accepting the GRAYS rather then rejecting them -- which would lead to fear and panic (something which the secret government did not want to take place), the others who were involved in the project shut him out and even interfered with his attempts to acquire further documentation. Apparently they were of the mind-set that the masses would react negatively to the fact that the government was NO LONGER IN CONTROL of many aspects of human life which the aliens had INFILTRATED. This sudden realization could lead to anarchy and an overthrow of the government, whether out of fear and panic or whether out of a mistrust of a government which had broken the Constitution and kept the truth from the people who had the right to know what was going on. Apparently these people felt that it would be better to sell out to, and make certain concessions with the aliens if it meant that these government officials could remain in power, and undoubtedly their financial interests were at stake, being that the U.S. Government was the employer of those who initiated the "Awareness" Project. Some of the reasons the General could not in good con- science go along with the acclimation plans included his knowledge that the aliens have been manipulating our culture and human awareness for decades if not centuries, infiltrating our society, have tampered with our food, and even CREATED DISEASES to study on us (It is interesting that 'Commander X' has related an incident -- in one of his books published by Timothy Green Beckley's ABELARD Press -- of a man who was a member of a highly occultic masonic-like lodge, who warned of a possible connection between the Grays; secret Masonic- Witchcraft organizations; Ft. Detrick, Maryland; and the AIDS virus. Apparently this man had decided not to follow along with the 'agenda', and so ended up in a prison cell on trumped-up charges, possibly so that he could be kept out of the way of and not interfere with those within the lodges that still held to the 'agenda' ).- Mandroid closed the e-book and looked at the hour: 19.30 sharp... He rubbed his eyes and think in the woman that was his aim : Salvia...He called her , and she said by the visophone: -"Oh, it 's you, Doctor Mandroid! Guess it rest a week for my next appointment, yes?" She was pretty as ever, with a pink sweater that was almost ripped apart becouse those two big breast that were comprising -"Er...yes, you have a point there, Miss Salvia. But you see, I had been studying your case and I assure you I have the solution for your mental problems...Why don t you came to my office now?" She was startled, and looked at him with suspicion:"- Now? But ,Doctor ! I have my own private life ! I cannot go now! Perhaps in the next week..."- Mandroid was feverish, but not out of his mind already, so he take an in-breath, saying:"-As you wish, Miss Salvia! Next week...can you arrive here in a Monday?" -Oh, Doctor ! That day it s my beauty treatment s day ! I am awfully sorry...why don t you wait for my usual day ? "-She was smiling, as knowing the real motive of Mandroid... -All right, Miss Salvia ! Sorry this call." -It was a delight to hear you, Doctor!"- She laughed, and hung the phone ... Mandroid was happy as a child! He heard her voice, see her beautiful face, and receive the promise of her next visit ! Of course, he was deceiving himself, as his call was a useless one... He went to the Bar he used to attend; there he spot his best friend, Gunter Gonnt, and seats at his side . Gunter was a fat man of 55, scant brown hair and tiny eyes; he saw that Mandroid came , and take a gulp at his Vodka tonic. -Hi."- He said, eyeing the clothes Mandroid was using. -My friend ! I need your help! I am in a bad predicament!"- Mandroid said. -What, a husband chasing you?"- Gunter asked. -Not yet, I mean...what ..."-Mandroid was astounded...he was seeing Salvia seated at a table, there in the same Bar! With a guy... -"What is eating you, Mandroid? It s bad for your health...to be so nervous."- Gunter said, signaling the bartender for another vodka tonic. -In one word: I am in love with a patient!" Gunter laughed low, and said:"- Yes , I understand. You did the oath not to get involved with your patients...and now you are like a teenager in love!" -And it s there, in the back, seated with a man !"- Mandroid signaled. Gunter looked to the back of the Bar, and said:"- The negra?" -No, no! The blonde one, you dope!" Gunter keeps on looking, saying:"- Oh, what a dish ! I congratulate you. But what are you waiting? Go there and tell the guy to scram !" -I had not told her I am in love, yet."- Mandroid said. Gunter looked at him ,astounded. Then he banged the table, saying :-"Holy bones ! Are you for real ?" Mandroid asked for another vodka, and drink it in one gulp. -I will go there and tell the guy to scram!"- Gunter laughed, seeing how Mandroid began walking briskly, but after three steps, began to faltering, and when he was at the lady s table, he was a mess... -Hi, Salvia."- He told her. She looked at him smiling, and said:"- You here? I thought the psychologists didn t drink! This is Calder. Calder, this is my shrink...psychologist..." -Hi.!"- Calder said to Mandroid, handshaking the doctor with brutal force. -Well...I was here to salute you...and ..."- Mandroid began saying, but she interrupted him:" Say, Calder? It s too hot here. Please let s go from here..." -O.K., darling."- He said, calling the waiter, paying and leaving in less than five minutes. Mandroid was looking her back... Gunter was aware of the show they were doing to his friend, so he went down of the aisle just in time to bump Calder, who ends sprawling between two chairs... -Oh!"- Salvia said, when Gunter grabs her arm... -"Please, madam, follow me.!"- Gunter told the lady. She tried to resist, but he pressed the arm, and she gave a cry. Mandroid saw it all as in a trance....he suddenly realized Gunter was being rude, and gallop after him, who was dragging Salvia to the door. He bumped on Calder, who ends in the chest of the black woman, who gave him a real hit on the head with her glass... Gunter climbs his roadster, after closing the door ; at his side was Salvia. Mandroid runs to the vehicle, with two guards from the Bar, but Gunter yelled :"- I will deliver her at your door , my friend !"- And raced out of the place. Salvia was yelling hard, and began trying to turn the steering wheel, but Gunter twist her hand fast, so she gave a yell and subsided... -Oh, too much pressure !"- Mumbled Gunter, seeing the bone was sticking out of her arm... He went to the road, and then traveled for three hours, then turns right and straight to the hills, by a back road of dirt....Two more hours , and he was already at his bunker, between two hills. The place was wooded, and the building was after some bushes and trees, the road a mere track... The door opened, and he gets into his home of mortar and iron... He takes Salvia to the main room, and fixed her arm with a pair of twists; he bandaged it, and gave her a shot of sedative drug... -Guess she will sleep the rest of the night!"- He laughed, and went to the kitchen. He was looking them all using the visors; two in the engine room, two in the radarscope; eight in the control room, serving the machines, and sixty thousands attached to the controls of every missile in the cruiser...39 in the corridors, making errands and revising systems, some others in the capsules. Gunter felt uneasy with so many machines; they resemble men and women; some were tall and some were small, and it was difficult to assert they were not human, in some strange way. -"All crew to their posts !"- Sounds the voice of the captain Lavant. The explosions of the antimatter were like a drum, and the entire structure was shivering... -Chief of Electromen: send three of them with the missiles."- Captain Omar Lavant told Gunter by the visophone. Gunter clicked unto his own keyboard ,sending the three condemned Nexus to serves as "kamikazes " of the XXXIII Century. The missiles... went flying against the four dots that were the enemy vessels. -" Guided missiles... on its way, Captain!"- Gunter said to the face in his console . The machines were speeding fast; then the X-Beam Rays began sweeping the space, trying to destroy the missiles, but for not avail; the three missiles... banged against the enemy hulks, and just one cruiser was left untouched. -Hurrah!"- They yelled, when seeing the enemy was almost wiped out from the space. The enemy vessel, scared to see the other ships exploding around them, began to escape to the nearest planet. -Track them, all the way!"- Captain Omar Lavant said. -Tracking, Captain-" Malena Degas said, eyes glued to her console.-"Running fast to the third...no, fourth planet of sun 631." -So 631- 4 it is ! First officer, tell me what is in the IV planet!"- Captain Lavant asked. Saul Spocker asked the computer, and in the screen began to appear what was in that planet: no air, no water, but plenty of methane and ore. So the GHAMCOUNIN has several mine stations there; plenty of traffic too...see? You can look how they begin to run out!" In effect, several cargo vessels were leaving the planet, putting all the distance they could between them and the "Parlons"... -The rats are leaving the ship!"- Ruednt Fariñas said, munching a sandwich. The section they were was the first one; the second was also attached by a cylindrical tube ; that has the directional boosters to stabilize the anti- matter engine; that third part was floating in the sky, slowly descending to the planet... But the enemy was approaching that part with haste; they were trying to salvage it, as the secret of the anti-matter engines was not theirs still... -First officer, send the Omega signal ."- Ordered the captain. Saul Spocker pressed the red button, who cause to explode the third section, just when the enemy cruiser was anchoring the debris to it s hull! The explosion was terrible; the whole hemisphere was lighted by the fire and lightning that was provoked thus... The "Parlons" received this time a lot of debris, that perforated the hull in more than a thousand parts, the air was being lost fast. -Put the spatial suits !"- Yelled Lavant by the microphone, doing likewise. The "Parlons" raced to the surface; when almost colliding with a mountain, Saul Spocker turns the nose of the ship skywards; then puts the engines at full throttle, and banged the rear part unto the floor; then, all the vessel was collapsing, and the communicating tube, not designed to land in a planet, broke in the middle, so both parts separated some five hundred meters one of the other... It was night in this sector, and the hot metals began to cold down with lots of noises. In the interior, everyone was hurt; some with broken bones, others with brain contusions. The Electromen were almost charred in their capsules, and the ones that were serving, began to patch the holes in the hull, as the air was being lost . When Captain Omar Lavant wakes up, he felt a queer feeling at his right leg; he looked down and see no leg at all ! The blood was oozing out, so he pressed a badge made of his seat, and then he fainted. The second man awakening was the fat II Officer, Fariñas; he crawled under the blue emergency light, and saw the captain loosing blood. He called some Electromen, by typing in the main console; he ordered them to carry the Captain to the Infirmary. There, the Electromen in charge began to cure him fast. Fariñas send several Electromen to carry every human being to the Infirmary, where he seats seeing the work of the medics .One was dead: Gunter Gontt. The captain loosed a leg , and the rest was badly hurted. He was the lucky one! Two days elapsed, the mess was over; the electromen soldered both parts ,so the habitat was now enlarged to both sections.- Captain Lavant was feverish; two edoctors were looking after him. Malena said:"- Poor captain; I at least have one broken arm, but he loosed his leg. -If we came back to civilization, he will have a clone leg as good as the one he loosed."- Ruednt Fariñas said. -If...that is the problem now. I had been listening to the starradio, but there is just the garble this aliens did; nothing human in the air."- Saul Spocker affirmed. We are going to see the enemy."-Saul Spocker uttered. -You don t even know where is ! "- Fariñas enraged himself. -But we can send patrols there, to find the place!-"- Malena said. -Good idea. After a briefing, the hundred Nexus 2,3 and 4 leave the place, at a trot. -We will wait for your return!"- Saul Spocker told the captain of the platoon, Ediego . -No need to, First Officer !"- The commander of the scout group told him. Ruendt Fariñas went out, walking through the hatch and using his space suit, he walked far from the ship. He was weeping, and he don t want anybody to see him like that. Life began to be something like a burden, for those three marooned people. The GHAMCOUNIN was uncertain of their existence on the planet, as their radars were just in range for the normal take-off and land of the cargo shuttles and occasionally, some scout ship from some cruiser.. Now the three cruisers were out of order, there were not more to defend the mining facility, so the cargo vessels were the only ones who were in sight. So they send several scout ships every morning to patrol the sector ,and when as Ruendt Fariñas was the nearest one to the facility, they spotted them. The explosion would finish us also!"- 29.3 said, looking at him. -"Oh, yeah? Well, then...send one missile to each one of the scout ships..."- 23.0 ordered by the phone. The scout ships saw the missiles... in their tails, so they rush to the Mining Station, where they arrive together with both atomic bombs. The explosion makes all GHAMCOUNIN fly to the heavens, together with every item who was serving to extract ore from the floor. Also, one cargo ship was smoldered to smithereens in a trifle -Work done!"- 23.0 told Saul Spocker, who was looking at the sky, out of the ship in that precise moment. -"What it s that dark thing that is coming there?"- Asked Saul. -"Guess it s the atomic cloud , Sir!"- 23.0 answered, running to the ship s entrance... They all run to the air-lock, and once inside, they felt the tremble and the sound of thousands of pieces of debris, that the cloud was carrying along... The ship was buried under the debris, so the fire and the smoke didn t touch it ,fortunately Inside, the radiation began to mount . Malena saw the dials, and said:"-Oh, Hawckings , we are gonna die here !" -Let s put the armory now!"- Saul Spocker said, running to the suits .They clothed in those lead armors, and waited, looking at the suit s dials...they showed a lot less radiation as in the outside of them... By the radio, Saul told Malena:"- We are safe here." -"Yes, but we must eat and breath..." -"Oh, don t you worry about that! Saul Spocker and Malena Delgas went up, and the crew of the "Enterprise" cleans them of the radiation remnants; the armor was thrown to the waste disposal machines. -"They look like shit."- Doctor McCoy murmured. -"What did you say?"- Nurse Chapel asked, startled. -"Oh, pardon me ! They are in bad shape...nothing that a good shot of anti- radiation couldn t repair!"- McCoy said, and they injected both humans. Saul Spocker opened his eyes, saying:"- Remember the Nexus!" -"What Nexus ?"- McCoy asked, but Saul was asleep again. He went to the main cabin, and finding Kirk, he asked about what could be the meaning of Saul s words. -"Oh, the Nexus! Remember ,there is a Nexus between universes, and there you could live forever! The time doesn t exist, there !"- Kirk replied. -"Oh, what a good place must be that !"- McCoy said. -"Don t you think that ! I was there , once. Remember old Picard ? He helped me , that time. Sorry I was badly hurted, then. But doctors repaired me for good."- Kirk said, smiling. -"Yeah, I remember now! They grow a hundred Kirks out of your remnants! "- McCoy said. Nurse Chapel came to them, saying:"- The woman wakes up!" They run by the corridors as Kirk was used to do, and arriving to the operation table, they saw Malena, who told them her name. -"I am Malena Delgas, from the ship "Parlons". Who are you, sirs?" -"From the Federation; you are aboard "Enterprise", CC--...., and I am the captain Kirk; he is doctor McCoy."- Kirk presented himself. -Oh, my! You are famous...but wait! Where is Saul Spocker?" -"Your colleague? He is resting. "- McCoy told the woman. -"Good! I was afraid he was dead...And the Nexus?" -"The Nexus...it s a place far beyond our grasp, isn t it ?"- Kirk said, with a faint smile. -"Place? No, I mean Electromen! Robots"- Malena said, and fainted. -"The time for recuperation hasn t arrived. "- McCoy said. Kirk was worried, and called Spock. The alien came, with bright eyes. -"Yes, Captain?" -"There are some robots down there, in the wrecked ship. I want them here." -"How...I mean, yes, Captain."- Spock said. He send a tracking beam, and all the hull of old and battered "Parlons" came up from the dirt; it was in the air! Spock tracked until the whole contraption was in the space. It looked not as the bright thing it was in his prime... -A wreck...I wonder...I never saw an engine like that."- Kirk said. -Perhaps it was a first model...I could ask to Headquarters."-Spock said. -"And those Nexus...never heard of those, either."- Kirk said, feeling a cold water running by his spine. -"Perhaps we are moving into something quite different here, Captain."-Spock uttered the unutterable. -"Yes, we are dealing with something strange here. Well, send a party there, and bring here one of those machines."- Kirk said. He was moved; he didn t know much about droids, but he certainly was familiarized with some gadgets that were, in some aspects, robots, that did little works in the cities; never in a Federation vessel. The first Nexus aboard the "Enterprise" was 23.0; he was decontaminated, and brought to Kirk on the bridge. -"Here is the machine, Sir."- Spock said. -"Oh. Well, did you communicate with him...it, already?" -He hasn t donned it, Sir.!"-23.0 said. -"Why, you...talk"- Kirk was amazed. -"Yes, I talk, work, and have 23 professions. Ask the rescued first."-Kirk said, brushing his hair with both hands. This was an amazing case! Saul Spocker opened the eyes with difficulty; seeing McCoy and Spock in front of him, he said:"-I have a terrible headache. They find 23.0 being the Chief of all the Nexus, so he summoned him to talk. The Electromen presented himself with new clothes; he was tall and blond. -"The war between the Man and the GHAMCOUNIN began when earth ships arrives to the Shoulder of Orion. The GHAMCOUNIN has several systems under they command, and they are mining fields, mostly. We have not identify yet the mother planet of that race."- 23.0 told Kirk. -We are surveying the planet. Do you say we have enemy foes under our hull?" -Seven Bases, mining fields mostly, Sir. "- 23.0 said. -"And the aliens, how they look like?"- Kirk asked, feeling foolish. Why the Federation was so secrecy? A whole war going on , and he was out of the information ! -"They look like squids, Sir. Bigger, and they love women...earth ones."- 23.0 replied. -Oh, too bad! We cleaned all this sector; in a matter of fact, the Electromen are cleaning the other parts too...guess in a couple of hours all the rest of the "Parlons" will be as clean as a whistle!"- Scotty said. -"Tell me what do you learned already from this engines."- Asked Captain Kirk. They were alone there, as Nurse Christine Chapel were in some errand. -"With the finding of the wreck at planet 631- 4 we have a war in our hands that never I was aware of ! Also, the GHAMCOUNIN, those alien things, even the Electromen themselves! "-Kirk was appalling. McCoy look at his friend; he certainly was tired. -Well, Jim, wait until the signal from Headquarters arrive! Soon it will be clarified all this rigmarole! Now, take the drink, and go to sleep." -Doctor orders?"- Kirk smiled. -And a friend recommendation, too!"- Kirk did as was told; he was feeling tired . Half an hour later, he was awaken by Spock, who told him:"- Captain, we received the reply from Headquarters." And he handled him a piece of paper. Kirk reads the message, and said:"- Well, it s amazing! They told me to stay in orbit, surveying the alien Mining facilities ! And I want special attention to our neighbors, down there. " -Aye aye, Sir!"- Newark said, doing as he was told immediately, sounding the alarm. Everyone takes precautions for the change of direction. Minutes later, the "Enterprise" was circling the planet in a far orbit. -You can use us for the surveillance, Sir!"-22.3 said to Kirk. -I cannot trust you as I trust my men! My apologies."- The captain said. -"At least let us do something useful, Sir ! We are rusting in aft!"- 33.9 said. -Let me think about that. "- Kirk said, dismissing the Nexus. 22.3 went to his quarters, a mere place in the net of capsules and machines. They abandon the orbit six hours later, after seeing how the invisible first bomb went down on the main Base of the GHAMCOUNIN. The eyes of Kirk were misty; he was not delighted to see killed more than a million beings...GHAMCOUNIN or not. 631 had four planets, and the "Freud" was wiping Ghamcounin out of planet IV; so they went to Third, where there were just one mining field and some eighty cargo vessels, but this of minor capacities... -The vessels are going outer space!"- Maora Noemi said. -We are going to chase them!"- Kirk said, looking at Sulu. After a while of explanations by the phone, Spock said:"- They say they are waiting you at the lock!" -You go with me , Spock. Let s see the team..." -Kirk said. In front of the transport chamber, eight men were fully armed.-They were 18. John Farrell (Lt) 19. Dave Bailey (Lt.) 20. Charles/Carlos Jaeger (Meteorology Officer/helm) 21. Leslie (Lt.) 22. Kelowitz (Lt. Comdr.) 23. DeSalle (Lt.) 24. DePaul (Lt.) 25. Hansen (Lt.). -O.K., men! There we go; open your eyes; we are going to take the GHAMCOUNIN prisoners."- Kirk told his men. They were beaming out; soon they appeared in a desolate section of the enemy vessel; Kirk said:"- What a mess !" The disorder was evident; every item and garbage was spilled by the floor;no order whatsoever. The machine was trembling. -"Guess they are trying to get free from the Tractor Beam, Captain!"- Kelowitz said, alarmed. They arrived to a big chamber; there they find eight GHAMCOUNIN; as it was the first time they set eyes on that specie, they almost cry in terror... They were standing on what seems to be a pair of tentacles, with some six other that serves as arms ; a seventh was just a stump.(Lately they saw the "stump" grows and became a large horse-like penis). Their eyes were wattered, like a squid s, and the mouth was a hole full of sharp teeth, like the ones of a Muraena anguila... -"They seems like squids."-DeSalle said. The Ghamcounin were stunned, seeing them inside their ship, as they was waiting they were coming in some shuttle... Spock told the GHAMCOUNIN, through the loudspeaker inserted in his suit:" We are the humans that captured your ship. As accorded , you are going to surrender the ship to us. You will be treated well, and transported to our ship." One of the GHAMCOUNIN approaches Spock, talking in his queer tongue. Spock heard it and said by the radio communicator:"- They are arguing the ship will be abandoned in space, being a expensive one; also it s cargo are valuable for us." -That is our problem from here on! Tell them that."- Kirk replied, harshly. But Spock, seeing his captain was very nervous, said instead:"- We are going to take care of the vessel, Sirs." Spock looked at his captain; he was always so impulsive! So he told the GHAMCOUNIN:" We will take care of the ship, don t worry about it ¡" So the Ghamcounin went docile to the "Enterprise" and were locked in a compartment with a guard on the door. The room was filled with the special toxic gas they were breathing. Spock with a team, and Kirk with another, began exploring the big cargo ship. It was like a beehive, with lots of little cargo vessels that could go out or in of the cylinders that surrounds all the surface of the sphere.So the transportation of ore was a quick one, at least, when we talk of stowing. In the center of the sphere a huge engine was standing; it was a repulsion electrical device, that used the gravity of the suns to move the sphere;this was a delicate system, that could gave a tremendous thrust to the sphere,but also a dangerous one. -We have nothing of the sort!"- Scotty said, by the radio. -Now we have."- Winston* Kyle (Lt. - Transporter Chief)said. Kirk saw several chambers filled with dead animals to eat; there were also some specimens in deep freeze, some of them never before seen by man. -Guess this guys travel a lot and have their secrets!"- Janice Rand (Yeoman)said. They find the lockers of the crew; opened, they show gold and silver instruments. -Take all to the "Enterprise". We must study this things."-Spock told to Kevin Thomas Riley (Lt.). - Aye aye ,Sir! "- Kevin said, who was amazed to see those chunks of gold. After some hours of looking the interior of the sphere, Kirk told Engineer Scotty:"- It would be a great thing to send this sphere to Earth. Could you imagine all the secrets that could be used by mankind?" -I imagine it well, Sir! But to drive this baby means I must find the correct way to handle the controls. I must study the engine, Captain! "-Scotty said. -All right, began doing it now! I will wait until you accomplish the work"-Kirk said. -I will need some extra hands."- Scotty said. -I could lend you every hand on the Enterprise! I am in no hurry."- Kirk replied. -I was not thinking in the crew...in the human crew, Sirr ¡ I was thinking in those Electromen! They can serves me for hours on end! No sleep needed"- The engineer told his captain. Kirk think in it by 2 seconds, and replied:"- All right, Scotty! I have no problem to lend you the hundreds of them ¡ But take care."- -I will, Sir!"- Scotty said, happy to lay a hand on those alien engines... So the GHAMCOUNIN were in peace inside the "Enterprise" , where they were locked in a special chamber, breathing the toxic gas they use as air, and with a guard in front of their door... Spock and Kirk, with some guards each, uses every day searching the big sphere of the GHAMCOUNIN, formed by several shuttle-crafts, capable of fly in a planet with or without atmosphere, no matter how big or little it could be; and so the ore was transported to the sphere, economically and without endangering the big ship. As Chief Engineer Scotty was on the Sphere, he was astounded with the Engines... -What happens to you, Engineer Scotty?"- Spock asked, looking the rapture in the other s face. -Oh! Mr. Spock ! Here we are in the presence of something totally amazing ! This engines are made to travel the Universe !"-Scotty said, almost yelling . -How can you possibly now? "- Asked Spock, in a bored way. -"But, Mr. Spock! Do you see thrusters here? Or a combustion camera? No antimatter engines, also! We can see this magnets...and hear, the special gift from this Ghamcounin! This sector..."- And he was showing him, as he was walking by the room-" the marvel! This machine is designed to use the repulsion or the attraction of the sun ! Of any sun, of course; but the nearest is in use, normally. " -So you said this engine repulsed the gravity of the sun, so it can goes out of the system, in search of another family of planets ?"-17. Kevin Thomas Riley (Lt.),said. -Of course! Almost the velocity of light, and with no fuel!"- Was the exclamation of the amazed engineer..... -"It is imperative we can take this invention back to Earth!"- Scotty added. Spock told all the things Scotty was saying . Kirk looked very troubled. He was always in opposition to loose his crew members by sending back home in alien ships! -I guess we can wait orders."- He said. -Pardon me, Sir ! We are in presence of the invention that will gave an enormous thrust to civilization of man !"- Spock said. -WE will discuss this ...later, Spock. By the moment, and as it s so valuable, I will let Scotty study a little more."- Kirk offered. -Oh, yes , captain! There is lots of things he doesn t understand yet!"- Spock said. At the other day, Spock and his team recovered what looks like records of some kind, and carried it to the "Enterprise". Kirk leaves 6 other men on board of the Sphere, included the team Scotty was using. He went to sleep, but when arriving to the "Enterprise", Uhura told him he had a message from Headquarters. Live. It was Mardison Frander, Commander of the Fourth Sector; he told him:" Kirk, happy to see you." -"Thanks, sir. Likewise." -"But the GHAMCOUNIN has a great Army, and they are going straight for the system you are standing now; 631 Orion Constellation." -Madison said. -"And how many other ships are coming ,Sir?"- -"Six, but they are in Sector 9 and 10, so there is a delay between the arrival of the enemy and our own forces. " -"Delay, Sir? How many days?" -"Two weeks, perhaps three."- Kirk looked at Spock, who rise his famous brow. -"You are to search a secure spot, perhaps in some asteroid belt. Do not try to fight the GHAMCOUNIN Armada, until our ships arrive."- Madison said. -"What about the Cruiser " Sigmund Freud"? -I am sending a message to his captain, Fenton Rorden, to put at your orders right now. Good luck."- Mardison Frander, Commander of the Fourth Sector, said. Kirk looked at the blank screen. -Guess we better call the "Sigmund Freud", Sir!"- Uhura said. .-Yes, do it !"- Kirk told the nigger. ------- Two hours elapsed, the captain of the "Sigmund Freud" was on the screen. Kirk said:"- Did you receive your orders , Captain ?" -Yes, Commander. I am at your disposal."- The other said. -"Inform me of your situation there."- Kirk asked . -"The seven mining Bases are devoid of life, Captain .The Neutron bombs did their job, but we are eliminating some stubborn aliens, that went deep on to the subsoil. "- Fenton Rorden said, looking red in the face. -"Well, guess that work must stop right now! Summon all crew members to the "Freud", and take a direct course here, Captain Rorden! I am in the III planet, and here we will discuss future actions against the enemy."-Kirk informed . -At your orders, Commander ! I will summon all crew members on the planet, and the minute all of them arrives up here, I will fly to the III planet . It is that what you want?"- Asked Rorden, with a glint of irony. -"Yes, that s what I want ! Double quick, captain ! I am expecting you!" Kirk urged, and cut the conversation. At the "Sigmund Freud" Harcour Fenton Mudd told Captain Fenton Rorden :"I am sure you will run to his place". -Not me ! I don t want any orders from him !"- Captain Fenton Rorden said. -"Very well, cousin ! "- Mudd laughed. He was happy to be there,with a relative, in a good ship, with all the Bases in his hands. -"The GHAMCOUNIN are coming."- Captain Fenton said. Mudd went pale, and murmured:"- They will be not happy to see what we had donned with the miners down there." -Miners and people; they had their families too, but who was I to know there were females and child ? "- Captain Fenton Rorden said, drinking whisky straight from a bottle. They were at his private cabin, so there was no one to see them. -"What is donned is donned, cousin! But we must deal with the incoming aliens! I need this planet safe, to carry here the miners from Earth! "- Mudd said, pacing the room .His bald head shine under the lights. Chapter 5.- THE ALIEN ENGINES. Year 2.494 A.C. Those incoming alien ships were very fast; in hours were facing the IV planet, and seeing the "Sigmund Freud" orbiting there, they began attacking it immediately. -Alien ships !"- Said the second officer, looking at his console, where the red lights were blinking.-"32 big vessels, and more than 80 lesser others !" -What? "- Asked the drunken Captain Fenton Rorden, from his cabin. Mudd was asleep by then... The first officer, Robert Hedrock, punched some buttons; the "Freud" begin to move out of his orbit. -"Shields!"- Hedrock asked. Second officer, Jules Arms, activates the shields; from engine room came a warning:"- Energy not ready , Sir !" -"We are under attack!"- Replied Arms. The seven Spheres send a shower of rays unto the "Freud", who resisted by some minutes, but as the acceleration was feeble, due to the lack of energy (It was being used by the shields), finally the hulk was reached, and the "Freud" exploded. The next hours saw the incoming of all the alien fleet; more than 300 Spheres and Diamonds, and 2.903 scout vessels, this ones resembling a bell. The Spheres had a crew of 22 ghamcounins, and had 12 cargo shuttles inside. This shuttles could be drive by radio or with a pilot. Two canons with Xbeam rays . The Diamonds had that figure, and possessed two Xbeam rays capable of to melt three meters of solid steel in a second. Crew: 3 GHAMCOUNIN. No shuttles ,but had a little vessel for the crew to escape, in case of malfunction. Bell scout vessels.- 20 meters wide, has two ghamcunins each (1 Pilot and 1 gunner). -A big explosion at IV, Captain!"- Chekov said, looking at his console. -"There is a great radio source, Captain ! Totally illegible !"- Uhura informed. -"Send a message to the "Freud!"- Kirk ordered. They were astounded; the attack seems to have begun... -"No reply, Sir !"- Uhura said, after several trying. -"Sulu: set course to IV!" Spock coughed, looking worried. Kirk send him a swift glance, but said nothing. Kirk told Uhura to warn the Sphere. Scotty told them:" I can move the Sphere wherever you want , Captain ! Which are my orders?" -Follow us."- Kirk replied. The "Enterprise" begin moving swiftly to IV, that was a mere speck in the black and red of space. -"Enemy vessels, Sir ! They are approaching here !"- Sulu informed. -Velocity?" -"Near the light speed !"- Yelled Sulu; in seconds, the alien vessels were sending XBeams to the "Enterprise". -Shields!"- Kirk asked.- "Sulu: let get out of here !" The "Enterprise " went fast out of the attacking force, but then the alien ships followed them and passed for more than 20.000 kilometers; from there they recommenced the firing! In that moment, the Sphere went past the "Enterprise" as a comet! -"Scotty: we need a jump to hyper !"- Kirk asked. -"Aye aye sir...!" Scotty said, and running to the console in the wall, gave full power to the warp engines. When the shields began to collapse, the "Enterprise" did the Jump, and appeared some 2 l.y. away. -"No system near the ship."- Spock said, looking in the Viewer. -"That is what I intended, Sir!" - Sulu said, proudly. Kirk told Spock: "Call a officers reunion. At my quarters."-And went there. He click on the screen, and asked a full view of the surroundings. Several suns were indicated there, and the number of planets. When the assembled officers were inside his cabin, he said: " Gentlemen, we are in trouble. As commanded by Headquarters, we need to stay at 631 planetary system, waiting for our own fleet to come. " -"Guerrilla -like?"- Asked John Farrell. -"Exactly! And if we can damaged them a lot, the better ! So we can indicate our forces where to strike! "- Kirk said. -"The "Freud" crew...do you think they are all dead?"- Uhura asked, because as a woman, she was feeling pity for that people. -"I assume a explosion that big must have melted all the inside of the ship."- Spock answered. -"And what about a auxiliary ship? Perhaps someone could had gone safe !"-She said. Nobody answered that... -"Well, gentlemen ! We must study a course of action, here ! And then, we will try to return there, and be in hidden, looking for a weak spot in their Armada."- The captain said. They were there for more than six hours; at the end of it, a whole plot was accomplished. The "Enterprise " came back to the 631 planetary system, and as there were some big asteroids past the orbit of IV, they search for one with rough formations; finded, they landed there. -What a sight !"- Sulu said, looking at the surroundings. Big black rocks were pointing upwards to the stars; those red spots of gas were visible to the naked eye, and the speck of light of IV was barely visible from there. -Uhura: lets try to hear the enemy radio signals!- Kirk asked the Negro woman. -"I am hearing loud and clear, Sir ! But I don t understand a word they are saying !"- Uhura smiled. -"Spock! Record those radio sounds and try to translate it to English!"- Kirk asked . -"Very well, Sir.!"- Spock replied, and he began doing his task. 11:59:57 PM After some minutes, Spock was translating; mainly they were encoded messages, but also there were messages from ship to ship, and there always some phrase slips that shows the general location of the speaker. -"They seem to have total control of the Bases. Guess they want that ore pouring back to his home system."- Spock said. By the intensity of the radio signals, Uhura could tell the distance; so in that way also was a gain, as when the signals came from too close range, they were sure it was some vessel in search of them ! To be in that position makes Kirk wants to go out in the open, with all lasers firing and end the whole matter, for good or for worst; but the Enterprise s lives weren t him, and he was well aware of it. The enemy vessel was in plain sight; it was a Sphere. -Captain Kirk!" -A human voice was heard loud and clear by Uhura in her headphones. -"Scotty!"- -"Uhura? Are you there?" -"Yes ! Captain: it s the Chief Engineer speaking!" Kirk gave a sigh and said:" So it was you ! We are under your hulk!" Scotty finally saw the Enterprise, and descended some 20 meters away. He disembarked using his space suit, together with three other crew members. When entering by the airlock, Scotty said:"- What a joy to be here with you!" -"We enter Hiperspace and after we came back."- Spock said. -"Oh! I just fly in erratic course, and they loose my whereabouts!"- Scotty said. -Fine. I was worried you were torpedoed."- Kirk said. -"Not me ! I know those engines too well!"- Scotty smiled, happily. After a while of chit-chat, Kirk send some more men to the Sphere, with food for the crew down there, as the meals were scarce aboard that alien ship. That night Kirk gave a dinner for every officer on board, and also it was attended by Saul Spocker from the "Parlons". Kirk gave a toast for the happy return of the "Sphere", and after that he told Spocker :"- We have an alien ship in our possession, and our Engineer learns how to drive it !" -"Good. You could send it to Earth, to be studied and copied . "- Spocker said -"I guess I have not the necessary crew!"- -"But you can send it with the Electromen! They can learn to drive the machine in a couple of hours!"- Spocker said. Kirk said:"- I can send it all right ! I need Scotty here,in all cases.I will appoint a crew to be on the Sphere, and then I will decide." They eat and drink a little more, and then they chat until late. Kirk appointed the crew for the Sphere: Captain:Maora Noemi First officer:John Farrel Second officer:Leslie Vasser Doctor:Jennifer Smith Engineer:Wladimir Smirnoff Engines :Charly Evans Gunner:Dave Bailey. He told them:"- You are going to the Sphere, and work there with Scotty, learning the use of that ship. With you I will send 29 Electromen, that will be of assistance .The captain will be Miss Maora Noemi, First officer:John Farrel, Second officer:Leslie Vasser ,Doctor:Jennifer Smith ,Engineer:Wladimir Smirnoff, Engines :Charly Evans, Gunner:Dave Bailey.Any questions?" -Are we going to drive the Sphere to Earth?"- Captain Maora Noemi asked. -Yes. But not right now, as you probably would get lost. We must work this step by carefully step. First, Scotty will teach you the mechanisms, then you will be flying to practice, and then I ll see if I send the ship or not.All depends on too many things. " -"I will try to do my best."- Maora said. She was a black specimen of a woman, with big breasts, a thin waist and large legs , all inside a well-cut dress ... -"You can go now to the "Sphere". Scotty is already there, with his crew of mechanics."- Kirk smiled when saying. -"Permission to leave ship , Captain!" -"Permission granted, Captain Noemi."- Kirk said. The group leaves the "Enterprise " by the air-lock and walked excitedly to the "Sphere", who was a real black tower in that dim light... Chapter 6.- HOW A TRIP WAS BEGUN. Year 2.494 A.C. In the next weeks, 5 missions were accomplished by the Sphere; all of them were against the GHAMCOUNIN- And here is an abridged log of those missions, from the Captain Maora Noemi s log: First mission of the Sphere: Far from planet IV, we were almost out of the System, when a cargo freighter of the GHAMCOUNIN came from Outer Space. We approaches and they weren t suspecting of us, as the ship was a GHAMCOUNIN. We fired the Xbeams and the ship exploded . Second mission of the Sphere: Near planet IV, we saw two cruisers landing; we send them a discharge of the XBeams, missing; the cruisers were almost cover with debris. We return to the asteroid. Third mission of the Sphere: Scotty wants to probe the engines at full speed; we went from the asteroid to planet I in half a hour. The headaches were present in everyone after that. Never to repeat it, except in real danger. No enemy vessels in sight. Fourth mission of the Sphere: With the "Enterprise" we went to Fourth and nuked all the Bases, and then the enemy, who was surprised by our swiftness, began to attack our ships.As accorded before, we split ,going in separate ways. The majority went after the "Enterprise", so we could escape without too much harm. Later, at the Asteroid, we saw the "NCC-117" descending with a trail of smoke. We went out in space suits, with some extinguishers, but the fire was quench from the inside. The Captain Kirk was everywhere; he was exhausted but until his starship was out of danger, he didn t seat. 5 mission: Alone, as the "Enterprise" is under reparations; we was assigned to land and find dilithium crystals in Base 1, planet III. The Base had two cruisers and five scout "Bells" running around. So I Xbeamed the sector, and when the enemy ships try to counter-attack us, I fled in the direction of the sun. As they were approaching dangerously, we deployed two missiles from the "Enterprise" , who exploded against two cruisers; they were severely damaged, and then we turn and get back in a haste to planet III, seeing the enemy vessels were trying to rescue the crew from those cruisers before the ships explode. When we landed in Base III they thought we were friends; the surprise was really great, as they didn t react to our assault; we machine -gunned the airlock, enter the facility and with the aid of Spocker and 20 Electromen, we find the crystals of Dilithium and get back to the Asteroid before the enemy returns. Chapter 7.- THE TRIP OF THE SPHERE. -"I will send the "Sphere " to Earth."- Kirk said. -"It is the best you can do. Here, any day they spot us and the Sphere will be the first ship to had it."- McCoy said. They were in the Assembly Chamber, and they were drinking whisky. -"Of course, Engineer Scott must stay with us."- Spock asserted. -"Yes. The crew on board the "Sphere " has already two good technicians. No need for Scotty to be there."- Kirk reply. -"When?"- McCoy said. -"Soon must be. I see no need to wait until our Armada arrives here."-Kirk said. -"The Armada will arrive in two days."- McCoy said, looking at his wrist PC. -"Spock: go and bring here the Captain of the "Sphere."- Kirk ordered. Soon Maora Noemi was standing in front of him. -Good night, Captain Noemi."- Kirk said, offering her a seat and a glass of beverage. -Good night, Commander."- Said she, seating and drinking . -"I am sending you back home. "- Kirk said, looking intently at her. She blushed heavily; her heart was pounding heavily. With misty eyes, she was seeing the officers of the "Enterprise" looking at her.....she said:" I am ready, Commander." -"I guess you are."- Kirk said, and the rest laughed merrily. Then he add:-" But we are close to the New Year (2495)...to-morrow night is the last day of this year. So I giving a party and you and your crew are invited. After ,in day One, you can leave for Earth. " -"I ll be glad to be here with my crew."- Maora Noemi said. Then, Kirk gave her a lot of information to carry to Earth, and in case they cross the path of the vessels from Earth, she was to radioed them saying the vessels was captured to the GHAMCOUNIN. ..... The dinner was attended by all the officers and technicians; Kirk made a toast, wishing the war ends soon, and also a good trip to the "Sphere" and his crew. They eat and drink, dance and at midnight, all heard the sound of the inner bells, to indicate the year 2.495 was begin Kirk gave a hug to Maora, saying:"- Happy new year and good luck!" She was so nervous that didn t reply; she was thinking in the trip by the abyss of space...just a handful of humans inside an alien ship, with a very far goal... 2.495 A.C. The "Sphere" rises from the rock of the Asteroid, and soared to the sky, opposite the sun 631 and their invaders...For more than a year, the "Sphere " was traveling in deep space, all their members in deep freeze, and with the Electromen in charge of everything. The course was changed seven times, to reach the Solar System... When approaching the goal, the automatic systems opened the lids and the humans went out of the pods... Captain Maora takes a bath, and dressed in a fresh uniform, went to the Deck, where she ask info about the time they were sleeping, to the Electromen. 23.0 and 33.9 were there as the chiefs of the rest of the Nexus ; 23.0 said: -"When traveling to the Solar System, we change seven times the course, as there were killing meteors and radioactive ponds in the trek. Now we are approaching Pluto, and we are decelerating since a month. We are receiving messages from the Human Post at Pluto; they are waiting for your messages, as our messages were taken with incredulity." -"Why?"- Asked the captain Maora Noemi. -"They said...we don t exist, that never humans build Nexus robots."-23.0 said. Captain Maora told Leslie Vasser to contact the Pluto Base. -Commander Ramon Cornejario here ¡ Who is speaking ¿?"- The commander asked. -"Captain Maora Noemi, from the "Sphere", alien ship we intercepted. I come with news about the war against the "GHAMCOUNIN". After a silence of ten minutes, Commander Ramon Cornejario said:"- You must stop here for inspection! Do not enter in the Solar System!" Engineer Wladimir Smirnoff speak to the Captain by the intercom, saying:"-No way, Captain! This ship cannot stop at Pluto with the present velocity! We would stop near Uranus ¡" -"My engineer says we cannot stop at your Base, Commander Cornejario! He says the ship cannot stop until we arrive to Uranus!"- She said. -"Then stop at Uranus and came back! "- Commander Cornejario said. Maora Noemi stop the communication, saying to Engineer Wladimir Smirnoff: "- I want not to be vaporized, Mr. Smirnoff ¡ So see we can arrive to a velocity we can manage as soon as you can ¡" -Aye aye, Captain"!- The man said by the intercom... Two days elapsed, they were in front of Uranus, seeing the beautiful colors of that planet, and the striking loneliness their satellites shows to the eye... -"We arrive to normal velocity, Captain! You can stop on a dime now!"- Engineer Wladimir Smirnoff told by the Intercom. -"Good news ¡ Congratulations, Engineer! Farrel : set course to Earth." -"We are in that course, Captain". -Farrel replied. -"Don t loose the track."- She said, leaving the Deck... Commander Cornejario send a message to Mars, saying a unknown vessel didn t obeyed his order to stop. So they send three cruisers to stop it. Those cruisers saw the sphere two days elapsed, and they send a message ,threatening the "Sphere". Maora send her reply by holovideo; the men on the three cruisers saw her beautiful body and heard "- I am Maora Noemi, captain of the "Sphere", vessel who was captured in our war against the "GHAMCOUNIN". I came to The solar system under orders of my commander Kirk, captain of the "Enterprise". Lornan Ferguson ,Commander of the three vessels, said:"- All right, Captain Noemi. You stop all engines until we arrive at your side." So the cruisers were circling the "Sphere"; the commander send some men to the Sphere, and when he heard all was normal and in peace, he went to the "Sphere " himself. He was delighted to talk with the female, and astonished when he saw the Electromen performing all kind of tasks. He escorted the "Sphere " to Mars, where they get closed to the Military Base in orbit, and then a team of scientists and technicians began studying everything the Sphere" has to offer...that was a lot. After some weeks, Maora was called by Lornan Ferguson a tall and dark man, who said:"- The "Sphere" is a wonderful nest of inventions. We are going to send it to Earth, where there are lots of probabilities that it will be dismantled." -"But you cannot do that ! The ship is in perfect state of function!"- She said, alarmed. -"Orders, Captain Noemi! We did as we are told."-]The man said. -"Well, I obey, but just the same it s hard for me..."- She said. -"I understand this is your first ship."- Lornan Ferguson said, touching her shoulder.-"Perhaps Starfleet will give you another ship." So Maora Noemi went to the planet Earth, with a cruiser at her side, to protect the wonderful ship. Once in Earth orbit, the "Sphere" was docked in a big station, where they began to dismantle it in the second day there. She was send down to U.S.A, where she was told she was with "vacations." Three months and still in "vacations", Maora Noemi went to the office where she was told to present her complaints. A captain under a desk heard her complaints: she was tired of to do nothing, and she want an assignation to get back to space, preferable to the Orion sector, where her former Commander Kirk was waiting for an Armada to fight the GHAMCOUNIN vessels. -"Very well, Captain Noemi. I will present your request to the Commandancy, and we will see. No more than a week, and you can get back here to heard their reply. " She went out to the street with a light heart and a smile on her fine lips. She waited every minute of the week, and when she came back to the office, the same person told her:" I have here their answer, Captain Noemi :you are now Coronel of the fleet, and you are appointed to fly again...in the "Pegasus", a new starship that is going to the Orion sector in five days!" Noemi s brain seems to begin spinning, and then she said:"- Thanks." The next five days she walked as in a dream; she was send to the "Pegasus" and meet the Captain and crew of the ship. Chapter 5 . The "Pegasus " on his way. -Welcome aboard, Coronel Noemi."- Said the captain Sulu, smiling to her. He was a oriental, and she felt the man was a very honest one. When the fifth day ends, the starship began his trek to Orion; as the news there were as bad as they could be , the machine was forced full speed . -"There is a war over there, and we are loosing."- Sulu said. -"I bring new inventions here; it should help."- Noemi informed. They were at the Bridge, and Sulu was seeing how fast the new ship goes ,looking at the console. -"I guess they need time to develop it; then cames the tests, so I guess the new inventions will be added to our weaponry a year from here.".-Sulu said. Maora looked at the crew that was in the bridge: Hitaki Sulu was the captain; first officer Mr. Merion Francine; second officer Garden Fhouster; radarman Mr. Damelon Facher; technical adviser Mr. Ramon Gonzales; Chief Engineer Segundo Silva; Engineers Mr. Arturo Martinez Hara , Mr. Humberto Gomez T.; Guards Mr. Leon Rodriguez, Mr. Segundo Tapia; Mr. Luis Herrera. Maora went as advisor, and she could act as a Commander, due to her title ,but she refrain to do so, as the enemy forces were not present in that moment. -I will go see the engines."- She said, and Sulu answered by inclining her head. The engines were three, and they were throwing energy by the thousands ; the Jump was due in two hours more, as the path were to be calculated outside the Jupiter s orbit. - This engines looks mighty powerful."- She told Chief Engineer. -"Ah, Coronel Noemi, they really are powerful! They have more force than the previous cruisers; a third more."- Segundo Silva (Chief Engineer) replied. -"I heard the war was being fought with a loss. Do you know something about that, Engineer?"- -"Not more than a couple of rumors, Coronel. Really, the news are always tampered ,for political reasons. So I guess we must arrive there to know the truth."- Segundo Silva said. -"I have friends over there...I am very worried."- She said. -"Mala suerte, Coronel. "- Segundo said.-"I have no friend there, but just the same I am worried those aliens came here to our peaceful system, to destroy us, if we loose the war." -"I would be not so sure of that. For your information, the Ghamcounins came here thousands of years ago, and they still were here when I departed to Orion. They were manipulating us."- She said. -"No bromee ! I cannot believe it ! "- Segundo said. -" It s the truth. Well, I will be looking for more information about the machines myself. You keep on with your work, now."- Noemi ordered. She revised the machines, using all her training. They were new, they work swell, and so she relaxed and went to see her cabin. It was a 0 gravity one, with all floating around. She liked that way, so there was no bed. She closed her eyes and takes a nap... ..... -" Garden Fhouster, bring me the dossier on Coronel Noemi."- Sulu asked of her second officer. After a short vacation, she was assigned to the "Pegasus" with the title of Coronel. Reliable and with energy." -"Return this to the Bibliotec.- Sulu said to Garden Fhouster. ----- Maora awoke and went to the Bridge. He was looking at Sulu, who saluted her with a bow, saying:"- You could seat at your place, Coronel Noemi. We are ready to do the first Jump." -"All right, Captain."- Said she. The Jump was calculated for the fifth time, and then it was donned; the known stars at the Solar System were changed for the brightest ones of Orion Constellation. -"631 Orion Constellation."- Merion Francine announced. The alarm bell sounds immediately, and Damelon Facher said:"- There are coming four enemy cruisers, Captain!" -"Shields!"- Asked Sulu, looking at the screen. The enemy vessels moves as swiftly as a fish in the water. -"Second Officer: fire photons when ready!" After five seconds, Garden Fhouster said:"-Photons ready and aimed, Sir!" -Fire at will!"- Sulu asked. The rays began to shower on the enemy hulks, but those machines went out of reach, and then the XBeams were coming fast. -"Sustain shields, Chief Engineer!" -"Shields on, Captain! "- Segundo Silva said, looking how the drain on the main system were a worrying matter... -"Fire photon torpedoes !"- Sulu said, and the black and silver machines went zooming to the enemy. -"One enemy out !"- Merion Francine almost yelled, looking at her console. The rest, three cruisers, were aiming the "Pegasus " with their XBeams... -"Shields almost down, Captain!"- Segundo Silva warned to the Bridge. Sulu called to Engines Room , and said:"-Chief Engineer! I need power to do a Jump !" -"Impossible, Sir ! WE are almost null of energy!"- Yelled the terrified Silva. -"First Officer! Takes us out of here !"- Sulu asked. Merion Francine makes the "Enterprise" turns his tail and run as hell; the cruisers were leave behind in a trifle. -"We are leaving the scene, Captain."- Coronel Noemi said. -"Head to the nearest planet ! Those ships are terribly fast!"- Sulu asked Merion Francine, who reacted in a second. The "Pegasus " went to IV and landed near a cliff. -""Cloaking device on!"- Merion said, with a trembling voice. "This is Space Intruder Detector," boomed the ominous voice. "Alien craft detected. Grid 4, 631 6." It was the first time SID had ever actually detected anything and everyone at "Pegasus" was stunned. Sulu was transpiring , and his wet face was tense; his eyes rolled left and right. Seeing the oriental guy was out of order, or close to it, Coronel Marion Noemi said:"- Being your superior, I take command from here! First officer! Prepare laser beams ! Fire when I tell you!" -Aye aye ,Commander!"- Merion said, wide eyed... The bulk of an enemy vessel appeared over them. Noemi yelled:"- Fire all guns!" The laser beams streaked the air between the "Pegasus" and the sphere hovering there, who went red and exploded, sending all kind of debris everywhere...also against the Pegasus s hulk. -"Damage in Sector Three!"- Garden Fhouster said. -"Send the Reparation Crew there ! On the double!"- Noemi said. The radarman ,Damelon Facher, said:"- No other ship in the vicinity, Commander!" -I am well aware that you can take my post, Coronel Noemi, but I also am of service here!"- Sulu said, going out of his prostration . -"I know you are an able Captain! You can be the Captain just the same; but in some cases I will command you, it s that clear?"- Noemi said, looking him with wide eyes. -"I understand."- Sulu said, looking to his console once again. -"Be in command, then. I will go to rest."- Coronel Noemi said, as her head was throbbing as an Arabian drum. ........ The "Enterprise" was near the explosion; the cloaking device was in full functions, so Kirk was able to get as near as he wished; 3 cruisers were patrolling the site. -"Must be one of our ships."- Kirk said.-"Sulu: prepare 3 photon missiles right away!" -Missiles prepared. " -"Aim one to each of the enemy cruisers. Fire when ready." -"Ready, Captain".- -Fire !"- Kirk said, looking at his console.... The cloak was detached for the seconds of the firing ; then, the three streaks were visible in all its brilliant colors; two of the cruisers begin to elude the artifact; the third exploded a fraction of a second after. Both cruisers fly quickly away from there; the Enterprise follow them as a falcon. -"Fire to the nearer one, Sulu!" -"They are putting distance, Captain!" -"Send a photon missile now!"- Kirk said. The missile try to catch up with the outgoing cruiser; for a moment that was almost a certainty, but then the cruiser speed increased tenthfold, and the missile loose the target. -"Bad luck! Those ships are really fast for our weapons!- Kirk said.-"Return to the point we were, when chasing the cruisers!"- The "Enterprise " went to the spot after some seconds delay- and the "Pegasus " broke the radio silence, by saying:"- Here Starship "Pegasus"! Is there a Federation ship near us?" -"Enterprise" here ! "- Kirk said, and de-cloaked the ship, to be seen by the other vessel s radar. The ¨Pegasus" leave the site where it was hidden, and fly alongside the "Enterprise". -"Sulu here, Captain Kirk! Nice to hear your voice!"- The oriental man said. Kirk looked at the main console,, and there it was the familiar face of his old collaborator ..... -"Sulu! Nice surprise to see you !"- Kirk said. Soon, the Transporter brings Sulu to the "Enterprise". All the members of the old crew saluted the smiling Sulu. "There is two cruisers on top of us! We must be ready for an attack!"- Kirk said. -"Now we are two against two! Guess this GHAMCOUNIN don t like to fight when in equal numbers."- Sulu said. -"Just the same we must be prepared; we are two against a whole fleet; but as the tabano bits a horse, we can bit them to death!"- Kirk said -"That would be fine, Captain! But then, we should have some back-up from the Earth Fleet!"- Noemi said. -"She is our commander here."- Sulu said. -"A nice looking commander. "- Kirk said, looking at the woman. -"I will call Headquarters about that."- Noemi said. -"Encrypted."- Suggested Kirk. Noemi went to Merion Francine s post, asking an encrypted communication with Headquarters. After half an hour, she was in contact with the far site; he told how the enemy cruisers were destroyed, and how they could do a lot of damage with three or more starships. The answer was given by General Santor Espinoza , Commander for the Orion Sector. -"I congratulate you, Commander Noemi, for the successes obtained in the 631 system. But for the moment we are engaged in a secret plot, so I beg of you some more patience. You can attack and destroy the stray ships from the GHAMCOUNIN, but taking great care not to endanger your own ships, as they are valuable. With you in that system, the enemy needs to protect the planets with several warships. So you see how valuable is to have the "Enterprise" and the "Pegasus " in good order. " -I understand, General Espinoza."- Noemi said. She went to the bridge, where she find Kirk, working with Spock in some charts. -"Captain Kirk, I want to talk with you."- She said. -"Very well. Just a minute, please."- Kirk replied. After some minutes, Kirk finished the work and turning to the bored Noemi, said:"- Please apologize me, Commander. Now we can talk." -"I talked with Santor Espinoza, Commander for the Orion Sector. He said we must act as a guerrilla, because the Earth fleet is fighting in other system." -"Amazing! We have an opportunity to fight a whole fleet with just two ships."- Kirk said, looking at her. "It s a dagger on the mind to think for how long we could be playing the cat and the mouse."- Noemi said. -"As long as the cat didn t see us !"- Kirk smiled when saying. Noemi said:" I will stay in this ship, Captain Kirk. Captain Sulu will follow orders from here." -"Your option, Commander. Should I call him ?" -"Yes."- Noemi replied. Sulu was in the Enterprise by then; so he went to the Control Cabin in a few minutes. When arrived, she said:"- Captain Sulu ; I will remain in the "Enterprise". So you can return to the "Pegasus" and follow my orders from there." -"As you wish, Commander. "- Sulu said, looking at Kirk, who was there. -"We must find a secure place among the asteroids. From there, we will attack the enemy in the four planets of the systems."- Noemi said. --------- Both ships began searching for a big asteroid, preferable with tunnels or caves in their surface. -"No luck. Six months looking for a place, and we have not donned any attack !"- Spock told Kirk. -"The Commander Noemi doesn t want us to endanger our ships."-Kirk said. -.Guess our goal here it s not been accomplished. We trying to find a better shelter, and those Ghamcounins on the loose ! Same as if we weren t here, Captain!"-- Chekov said. They were in the bridge. Kirk puts the sound of their voices in the general system ,so the whole crew could here. He said:"- I think we better go home, as here we are of no service." -"You should say somebody we are not acting as warriors!" - Chekov said. -"The "Enterprise" it s ready to fight. But it lacks the spirit ."- Spock expressed. Soon Maora Noemi arrives to the Bridge, with fiery eyes. _"Somebody forgot to unplug the microphone !"- She said. -"Oh, I am sorry ! I must brushed it by!"- Kirk replied, smiling faintly. -"I have a new plot, Captain Kirk ! We are going to attack the Ghamcounins at planet III, and when they start chasing us, the "Pegasus" could land and invade the Base for us!" -Well, we just need to tell Captain Sulu about this and we can start our engines."- Kirk said to her. -"Call Captain Sulu right away!"- She commanded, with blushed face. After the necessary arrangements, the "Pegasus " started the mission by racing to planet III. When in orbit, the cruisers were startled by the explosion of the missiles. One of the seven cruisers was touched, and exploded ; the smoke shot to the sky; more than three kilometers of smoke and debris! -Direct hit, Captain !" -Damelon Facher said. -"Now we run!"- Sulu said, and the "Pegasus" leaves the orbit, racing to the outer space. The six remnant ships begin they flight, and soon they were in the tail of the earth starship. -"They are leaving the planet now, Captain!"- Uhura said. -"Wait! We must wait some more !"- Kirk ordered. When the GHAMCOUNIN vessels were far from the III planet , the "Enterprise" landed near the Mining Base. A group from the Enterprise run to the entrance; a photon bomb exploded and the gate fly sky high. -"We are in!"- Kevin Thomas Riley said by his micro transmitter. -"All right!"- Spock said, and turning to Kirk, added:"- Second unit is ready ,Sir!" -"Send them in!"- Kirk expounded. Soon the whole Base was in turmoil, as the GHAMCOUNIN were not unarmed; they fight every meter of the tunnels! -"Must be military personnel here ! The former miners didn t make a fuss when attacked!"- Kevin Thomas Riley said by the mtransmitter. -"All right ! We are going to remind here !"- Kirk said, ordering Sulu to fly to the orbit. By the meantime, the six cruisers were coming back, as Sulu did a Jump with the "Pegasus", and the GHAMCOUNIN doesn t know where to search. -Six enemy vessels approaching, Captain!"- Hera Gletony, Second Communications Officer, warned. -"Spock: send them each a present!"- Kirk ordered. Six photon torpedoes were send in quick successive shots. The GHAMCOUNIN were surprised of the sudden attack, so 2 of the cruisers went to oblivion, in white explosions that illuminated the dark face of planet III ! The rest attacked the "Enterprise" with XBeams, but the cloaking device was on, and the rays were lost ... -Get the hell out of here!" - Somebody yelled by the intercom. -No! We have a crew on the planet ! We will patrol the area !"- Kirk ordered. The cruisers were landing, when the "Enterprise " fired again photon torpedoes! The four of them exploded, making the earth tremble! The ball of fire was fierce and scolded the land. Inside the compound, the earthlings were busy incinerating the alien bodies, that stinks when dead. After some hours, a scout vessel from the "Enterprise" landed and aided in the cleansing work; a new gate was soldered to the hinges, and a machine from the "Enterprise" was put to function; soon the atmosphere inside the compound has the necessary oxygen for humans to breathe. -"I will go down to see for myself how it s going ."- Kirk told Spock. -"All right, Captain,I will be in stationary orbit. Any sign of enemy activity will be reported to you." -"Correct."- Kirk replied, and was beamed down, with three other crew members. Commander Noemi was busy trying to communicate with the "Pegasus", seated next to Uhura, who was smiling constantly. -"The Captain Sulu will bring the "Pegasus " soon ! Don t be so worried !"- Uhura told Noemi. -"I wish that could be ! "- She replied, nervously. INSIDE THE ALIEN BASE. Kirk was astounded to find lots of queer gadgets and machinary. This was not seen by him in previous times; the war ships surely brought it from whatever place they came... -"Lots of war machinary here, Captain!"- Hera Gletony, Second Communications Officer, told him. -"We must use it ! Every gain we could make, serves our purposes. Wladimir Smirnoff ! You will be in charge of the technical unit from now on ! Try to figure out the use of this machines !"- Kirk ask the man. -"All right, sir ! But I need a crew !"- -"Ask any person to be under your command ! I need this machines firing enemy vessels ,if they approaches now !"- Kirk said. In the meanwhile, he went down a shaft, using an elevator. There are dilithium crystals in the walls!"- Kirk said, looking at the walls of the tunnels; walking down the tunnels, the dilithium crystals were shining as glass under the candle lights... -"They are beautiful!"- Hera Gletony, Second Communications Officer, said, picking up one from the dusted floor. The glittering crystal was forty centimeters long, and more than ten of width...The lamps in the tunnel were fragmented in a hundred rays. -Ghdo!"- One GHAMCOUNIN jumps on the girl, and began hugging her. -Help me, Captain!"- Hera Gletony, Second Communications Officer, yelled. Ensign Pavel Adreiev Chekov arrived from the ship, and presented in front of Kirk, saying:" I bring you your lunch, Captain! " -Good."- Kirk said, sniffing the dishes that the oriental man was bringing him in a tray. Soon he was eating, and Chekov told him:"- Mr. Spock is very happy on board, Sir! He is rearranging furniture and making new works for the men." -Oh, his usual self ! Do not worry, I will erase all his orders, when I get back there."- Kirk said, munching a mutton piece... -"The doctor went up with the girl." - -"Yes, I send her there, as she was attacked by a GHAMCOUNINsilly me, I was revising the tunnels with a woman! "- Kirk said, taking his glass of wine. -"They have a crash over hominid s females , all right ! Good we are men."- Chekov said. -"Funny you...but prepare a team to go down there! I don t want any alien lurking in the basement ! Try to bring him here in one piece. "- Kirk ordered. Seventy crew members went down the shafts, searching for the GHAMCOUNIN, that pitifully resisted all the peaceful entreaties, so he was killed. -The animal is dead, captain."- Ensign Pavel Adreiev Chekov said. -Well, what the hell. "- Kirk mumbled; he was interested in a Spock-GHAMCOUNIN mind-melt, but now it was not possible. -There are more than 390.000 tons of crystals ready to be shipped down there."-John Farrell (Lt.) informed . -Good. Tell Spock to call a freighter from Earth."- Kirk ordered. -"Aye aye , Sir."- Said the tall man, taking his communicator. Kirk revised rooms all the afternoon; after that, at 20.00 hours, he was beamed up to the "Enterprise". -The Headquarters asked if you are out of your mind."- Spock told Kirk ,when he walks into the Bridge. -"Oh, yeah?" -"Yes; they told me the GHAMCOUNIN are controlling the Orion sector, no matter our efforts to win the war..."- Spock told him. -"A pity. And Sulu, what about his ship?"_ -No sounds from him. "- Uhura said from her seat. Kirk looked at those superb legs, criss-crossed as usual. -Tell me when he arrives. I want to take some sleep now. "-Kirk said. -"I will be in command."- Spock told his captain. Kirk went to his bedroom; he undressed and went to sleep. He loves to be in the "Enterprise" and not in another vessel...as here he can sleep with a normal gravity. In lesser vessels, the 0 gravity was the usual thing in the bedrooms... Up on the bridge, Spock was revising the nearby stars. He reads that the first 2 digits of a galaxy's membership is a cloud name. After the cloud name is either one or two sets of a sign and a 2-digit number. If the sign is negative, it indicates a group. If it is positive it indicates an association. They disembark 25.000 Electromen at Planet III, and the rest (34.000) were transported to Planet IV mining fields, where they began to work in the extraction of dilythium crystals and in the defenses of each compound.
